MAKING A HIT SONG ONLY 5 SOUNDS

  It takes more than just being gifted, I get that. It's time to really embrace the vision and go all in. Committing to something isn't always easy but it's the only way to end up with a final product. COMMIT to the vision don't doubt yourself and your ideas. What seems crazy today can be ideal tomorrow. Okay now about the video. 

 This weeks video, an idea I had to create a song with just 5 sounds, turns out you don't need much to catch a vibe. I committed to a bass line I thought was clever and simple enough to run with. The lead sound only comes in a couple times and is literally one note the whole time. I eventually nail the vocals and it shows how much better I am in writing then I am producing. Working on producing more now because of this.

The percussion is inspired from brazilian funk. Brazilian funk can super simple so I thought it made the most sense to make it the rhythm of the track. The percussion along with the kick was the first thing I created and set the tone for the movement. The lyrics are super super simple. On Purpose. I didn't want it to overpower the song so the phrase was made " All I wanna do, spend with you " Genius I know.

Will it gain millions of views and take the world by a storm? Not sure, but it was super interesting to create and I am proud of this simple 5 sound song. Hope yall like what you hear!
